Yu, Sangseok(유상석) 
Professor

Professor Sangseok Yu graduate his B.A at Chungnam national university in 1997. He joined his graduate study at Seoul National University in 1998 and achieve his Ph.D. at University of Michigan in 2006. His research interest is transient heat and mass transfer, multiphase flow, thermal management of energy system, energy system modeling and analysis, control strategy of powertrain system.He joined Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials as a senior researcher from 2006 to 2009, and he was a adjunct professor at UST during the period. Currently, he is a professor at Chungnam National University.

He is also working as director of the center for convergence technology of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. The center covers a wide range of automotive research, such as systematic development of fuel cell vehicles, performance investigation of BOP components, durability and optimal operation of fuel cell vehicles, hydrogen mobility, and production of hydrogen from various sources.
