Energy Conversion Systems
Energy Conversion System laboratory is operated by school of mechanical engineering. Laboratory supervisor is prof. Sangseok Yu who is specialized in transient heat and mass transfer, modeling and simulation of energy systems, and control of energy system.
As of yet, the energy conversion system laboratory has achieved many research accomplishments in the regime of fuel cell systems, from micro-scale reaction modeling to macro-scale system modeling, verification , and simulation.
The fuel cell system is a very interesting topic that is promising candidate for a future gen power source. The energy system laboratory is working on the fuel cell system but the main idea comes from mechanical engineering fundamentals.
Currently, more than 10 projects are carried out by excellent student professionals who are concentrated on the fuel cell related topic.
Energy conversion system laboratory is seeking for new innovative student researcher who is enthusiastic about renewable energy and fuel cell system.
